Based in Athens, Greece & Berlin, Germany. Icey (born 2002) has been making waves in the electronic music scene for over six years. She began DJing at just 16, quickly becoming a staple in Shanghai’s top venues. Her talent soon earned her a signing with NetEase Music, China’s largest electronic music agency, where she became the youngest artist to join the prestigious NetEase Fever Family. At 19, Icey moved to Los Angeles to pursue college while continuing to expand her music career, performing at major shows and festivals. However, after two years, she realized her true calling was music production. Deciding to fully dedicate herself to creating music, she relocated to Europe and embraced her new path as a full-time producer.

During her college years, Icey launched Icey Planet, a project where she blended the ethereal sound of the handpan with electronic beats. Her sound, often described as “futuristic, trippy, and celestial,” quickly gained attention. In just two years, Icey amassed nearly 50k followers on social media, solidifying her reputation as an innovative force in the industry.

In 2024, Icey made her debut at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), where she recorded her first deep drum & bass and liquid drum & bass mix—a pivotal moment in her career. This new direction has set her on a clear path within the genre, shaping the future of her sound. “I wish to take my audience to my own planet through my sounds,” she said during the interview in ADE.
